MTB brake discs | heat treated | wear-resistant

Our brake discs are particularly stable and have low wear due to a special heat treatment in combination with high-strength stainless steel. They are available in sizes Ø120 - Ø223 mm in various designs, different friction ring widths and thicknesses. All of our 6-hole brake discs are compatible with Centerlock adapters.

For the following standards, we have fitting brake discs:

  • 6-Hole: IS2000 / BionX IGH
  • 4-Hole: Rohloff Speedhub / Coda / Formula
  • 3-Hole: White Industries (Rock Shox, AMP Resarch)
  • 7-Hole: Kindernay Hubs
  • 6-Hole: 3x3 NINE Gear Hub

Our brake discs are compatible with all the different brake systems from:
Avid, Formula, Hayes, Hope, Magura, Shimano, SRAM, Tektro and Trickstuff. When selecting the appropriate design of the brake discs, please pay attention to the correct diameter so that it matches the friction ring. This is important for the entire performance of the braking system.

Heat Treatment
All of my brake discs are made from a high-alloy stainless steel, which is vacuum-hardened to a material-specific hardness after laser processing. After the hardening and cooling process, the hardness is tested at 3 points on each brake disc according to the Rockwell scale.

Surface Finish
Individual brake discs can also be obtained by glass bead blasting. Glass bead blasting is a particularly gentle process for treating metallic surfaces. Glass bead blasting removes discolorations or tool marks, smoothes, compacts and gives surfaces a silky matte shine. This process has the advantage that the bedding-in time of blasted brake discs is reduced compared to conventional brake discs, so that the full braking power is available more quickly.
